Green Chutney :


Timing :
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients :

  • Coriander leaves : 1 cup
  • Mint leaves : ½ cup
Green chili : 2 pcs
  • Ginger : 1 inch
  • Hung curd : 2-3 tbsp
  • Cumin seed powder (roasted) : ½ tsp
  • Chat masala : ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice : ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste


Method : 

  • wash and roughly chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chili and ginger.
  • In a blander jar add all this chopped and add Hung curd, cumin seed powder, chat masala and lemon juice. Add salt to taste and blend to a thick paste using minimal amounts of water if required.
  • Bland until smooth.
  • Transfer to a bowl or store for a day or two in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
  • Serve as an accompaniment.

Tips :

  • Prepared hung curd, by putting the curd in a cloth and hanging it for half an hour, this will help remove the water content from the curd.
