Ingredient :
- Plain flour : 1 cup
- Curd : ½ cup
- Baking soda : ½ tsp
- Baking powder : ½ tsp
- Olive oil : 1 tbsp
Other Ingredient :
- Plain flour for dusting
- Salt for backing : 2 cup
Method :
- First of all, take a pressure cooker and lay a layer of salt on its base and place a wire stand followed by perforated plate.
- Now Heat the cooker on medium flame and cover this cooker until we make the dough.
- Then take a bowl and add plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt to taste and mix well.
- Slowly add the curd and knead the dough. Add olive oil and again knead the dough.
- Cover this dough and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Press the dough to remove the air and divide the dough into two equal part.
- Dusting the dough with plain flour and roll with rolling pin. This pizza base size is normally 175 mm and 7". Make a some prick everywhere on pizza base using a fork.
- Now place a pizza base on cake tin. Open the lid of cooker and put the tin on wire stand inside the cooker.
- Cover this for 5 minutes on medium flame.
- So, the pizza base is just out from the cooker. wait for 2-3 minutes and take it out.
- Pizza base is ready. Now make a pizza by using this home made pizza base.
Tips :
- For best taste, don't store it for more then 3 days.
- You can add some mixed herbs for flavouring to a pizza base.
