Sweet Boondi

Ingredient :
- Gram flour : 1 cup
 - Baking soda : ½ tsp
 - Water : ¾ cup
 - Orange Color
 - Oil for fry
 
For Sugar Syrup
- Sugar : 1 cup
 - Water : ¾ cup
 - few saffron strands
 
Method :
For Sugar Syrup :
- Add sugar and water in a deep pot, heat on medium flame.
 
- When the sugar melts, keep stirring till one string consistency is achieved.
 
- Now add in saffron and mix well. Turn of the flame and set aside till in use.
 
For Batter :
- First of all, in a large bowl add gram flour and baking soda. Mix well.
 
- Next take a seive and put prepared mixture into it. Seive it well with the help of hand. Breaking big pieces by pressing with hands and seive it.
 
- Add water and orange color, mix well till no lumps remain. Keep aside.
 
For Making Boondi :
- Heat the oil in kadhai on medium-half flame.
 
- Place the ladle 3 to 4 inch above the oil surface.
 
- Once oil is hot pour batter in to the ladle pour batter in to the ladle. let it fall on its own.
 
- Deep fry the Boondi over a medium flame. Do not over cook.
 - Remove out using a slotted spoon and put them in the warm sugar syrup and mix well.
 
- Cover the pan until it soaks all the sugar syrup.
 
- Sweet boondi is ready.
 
Tips :
- For the next batch, wash your ladle and wipe it dry. Then repeat the same process.
 
- You can use red and green color for making different different color Boondi.
